Growyn ("we," "us") is a free self-worth program for teens, parents, and families at growyn.net. We built Growyn around honest reflection — and that only works if you can trust what happens with your words. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we don't.

Your workbook answers stay on your device

Everything you write in the Growyn Teen, Growyn Adult, and Growyn Together workbooks is saved only in your own browser (using a feature called local storage). Your answers are never sent to us, never stored on our servers, and never visible to anyone else — not even Growyn.

• If you clear your browser data, your answers will be erased.
• If you switch devices or browsers, your answers won't follow you. Use the "Download my answers" button to keep a copy.
• Anyone who uses the same browser profile on your device could see what you wrote — on shared devices, consider downloading your answers and clearing them.

What we do collect

Email address (optional). If you sign up to be notified when the Growyn app launches, or send us a message through the contact form, we receive the information you submit. These forms are processed by Netlify, our website host, and stored in our Netlify account. We use your email only for the purpose you gave it — a launch notification, or replying to your message. We don't sell it, share it, or add you to any other list.

What we don't do

• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No selling or sharing of personal information.
• No tracking cookies or analytics scripts at this time.

Children's privacy

Growyn Teen is designed for ages 12–18. Because workbook answers never leave the user's device, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The email notification and contact forms are intended for users 13 and older; if you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party services

Our site is hosted by Netlify, and our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. These providers may receive standard technical data (like your IP address) when pages load, as is true of most websites. Their privacy policies govern that data.

Not a substitute for professional care

Growyn is an educational self-reflection program — not therapy, counseling, or medical care. If you or your teen are struggling, please reach out to a licensed professional.
